Welcome to the Global AI Alliance for Climate Action, where we leverage the transformative power of AI to tackle climate change. Our initiative unites AI experts, climate NGOs, scientists, and philanthropists in a shared mission to restore and protect our planet.
In 2024, we’re building a global network of climate NGOs across North America, Europe, India, and the MENA region. By engaging with high-impact organizations addressing regional climate emergencies, we forge partnerships that drive real change.
Through collaboration with leading AI researchers, we empower innovative projects that combine AI with human creativity to develop sustainable, scalable solutions in areas like disaster resilience, renewable energy, and public health. Together, we aim to equip frontline communities with the tools needed to combat climate change and fund the most impactful solutions of our time.
The Global AI Alliance for Climate Action is seeking innovative Climate NGOs to collaborate with leading AI researchers in developing transformative solutions to the climate crisis. We invite NGOs working on climate resilience, sustainability, and environmental justice to submit proposals for high-impact projects that leverage AI to drive real-world change.

AI For Climate Summit
November 3-4 / Istanbul
The AI for Climate Summit brought together visionary leaders and experts to explore the intersection of AI and climate action, addressing challenges and opportunities in aligning technology with ecological resilience. Discussions highlighted the urgent need to realign AI frameworks with ecological resilience, as outdated systems fail to address the climate crisis effectively. While AI-driven solutions hold immense promise, reducing AI’s own carbon footprint is equally critical. By rethinking the purpose of AI, the summit emphasized steering technology toward fostering planetary health and social equity to drive meaningful climate action. The next phase of this initiative will showcase solutions at the Vector Institute office in Toronto on Earth Day, April 22.
